As a San Franciscan native like myself, you have to love the locations that Zerlina & Pat choose for their wedding. St Peter and Paul Church and Hotel Whitcomb are both San Francisco landmarks and filled with lots of history. Where did Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio tie the knot? That’s right, at St Peter and Paul Church. And did you know that after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, the Hotel Whitcomb served as temporary City Hall from 1912-1915?

What kind of wedding do you have when you are of Chinese heritage born in Holland? You have a Chinese Tea Ceremony, you incorporate wooden Dutch shoes as part of your decor, and you add lots of orange to the mix since orange is the national color of Holland. Lisa & Larry had an intimate wedding celegration at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay this past December and in grand California fashion, the weather was beautiful! The low angle of the sun during the winter months made for some dramatic shadows for our outdoor photo session on the beach. Congrats to Lisa and Larry!

Venue: Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay

With so many great wedding blogs and E-magazines out there, it’s getting harder to be unique and different. Smitten Magazine is an E-magazine that has definitely caught my eye! If you haven’t seen it, you are missing out. The layout and design is absolutely stunning! I have been fortunate to have had two of my weddings featured in the last 2 issues. See Griselda & Chris’s wedding here starting on page 49 in this current issue.

The holidays are the season of love since so many couples get engaged during this time of the year. My couple, Jordan and James had their engagement proposal written up in the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper on Christmas Day. See the online version here.
