For The Love Of The Game | Giants Spring Training
The crack of the bat, the smell of hot dogs, and the look of the green grass and blue skies all reminds me that spring is here and baseball season is around the corner. For me, baseball takes me back to my childhood when I idolized the likes of Willie Mays, Willie Mccovey, Juan Marichal, and Gaylord Perry. Today, baseball is my getaway, my slice of heaven, it’s my escape back to my childhood when life was simple and my biggest worry was when I was going to see my next game at Candlestick Park.
This past week, I introduced Giants spring training to the wife in Arizona. As you can see from the photos, Nancy got just as excited as the other kids and fans about getting autographs and seeing their favorite players up close and personal. Seeing her excitement and enthusiasm for baseball reminds me of everything why I love the game. See you all on opening day! Play Ball!
